Under general supervision, the mechanic will install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair a large variety of industrial pumps, machinery, and mechanical equipment that is associated with this craft.¬ ¬ 




Education Minimum Requirement¬ 

High School graduate or equivalent. Vocational or technical school certification. Courses in Machine Shop practice and Machine Tool operation.

Required Experience and Skills

  • 3 ‚€“ 5 years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in mechanical and associated tasks.

  • Install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair machinery and mechanical equipment.

  • Fabricate mechanical devices & replacement parts working from sketches, CAD drawings/blueprints, or verbal instructions.

  • Inspect and service equipment according to PM schedules of lubrication, maintenance, and repair.

  • Erect rigging equipment needed for pulling pumps, fans, and other heavy equipment.

  • Efficiently operate all equipment used by this trade and maintain in good condition. Maintain work area and equipment in a safe, efficient, and clean operating condition. Strictly adhere to all Safety and Environmental rules and regulations.

  • Must be able to lift, bend, and move in a safe manner while performing job tasks.

  • Using the department CMMS work order system, complete specific tasks, and properly fill out each work order, as directed by management.

  • Perform other job duties, including work of other trades to the extent of their abilities, as required.¬ 

  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Experienced with rebuilding, removal, and installation of industrial sized pumps.

  • Knowledgeable with use of lazar alignment and belt tensioning tools, as well as, diagnostic tools for predictive maintenance.

  • Ability to analyze and adapt to non-routine mechanical environments, and perform tasks safely.

Note- This is a 3rd shift role, hours are from 3PM-11:15PM

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
