Associate Director, Global Pricing

Position Description: Job Description - Associate Director, Global Pricing Franchise Lead Under the direction of the Executive Director in Global Pricing, the incumbent will be responsible for the following essential Pricing related functions. Develop & Implement Pricing Strategies for assigned products:The Associate Director (AD) will be responsible for developing Pricing Strategies working cross-functionally with key stakeholders such as Marketing, Access Strategy, CORE, and Policy for assigned products, including both In-line and pipeline assets: The AD will be expected to educate the brand team on the overarching Pricing & Reimbursement (P&R) issues in each strategic market and update the team on any significant changes that may have a bearing on brand strategy as well as revenues and profits Business Development deals: The candidate will inform all stage-gate and BD decisions, for assigned assets, with regards to optimal pricing approach, probability of success to maximize the opportunity of these potential assets Evaluate Pricing Proposals: The AD represents the interests of their brand/franchise on every launch price proposal and product lifecycle price change request and is responsible for making recommendations to the Marketing Team and other senior franchise leaders regarding price proposals that optimize price and profitability and aligns with marketing and access strategies. Measure, Monitor, and Report Price:  The AD will be responsible for tracking prices via actuals reporting and the financial forecast to: ensure they're aligned with strategy and compliant with approved pricing authority identify risks and opportunities that might otherwise cause unforeseen negative impacts to the our patients and our business and work proactively to mitigate those risks Other Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Provide guidance to these franchises to continually improve the revenue and profitability of in-line assets through a strategic evaluation of key events in the therapeutic space. Assesses price proposals and develop recommendations that seeks input & approval from franchise stakeholders, as defined by Global Pricing governance Generate analytical reports and execute projects as needed to support Franchise Management and/or Regional Management  Educate senior Global Pricing and GMAx leadership on the strategic imperatives of all brands within their purview. Train affiliates on interpretation and application of price strategies and price structure to ensure compliance with guidance Contributes to and/or leads strategic projects on an as needed basis to improve the overall pricing and reimbursement knowledge and skills of Global Pricing colleagues and the broader organization Lead internal content experts in the creation of tools / resources to support recommended pricing strategies (e.g Scenario assessments, dashboards) Ability to tactfully and diplomatically negotiate to reach alignment and drive progress forward Develop turn-key high value training/guidance materials, as required, to support specific brand pricing requirements. Qualifications Position Qualifications: Education Minimum Requirement: BA/BS Required Experience and Skills:  Minimum of (3) years Pharmaceutical industry experience Preferred Experience and Skills: Master's degree Communication & Influence - solicits ideas for improvement and engages stakeholders and employees in developing plans. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
