Payroll Coordinator - Kenilworth, NJ

What will you be doing?

The job responsibilities of the Payroll & Benefits/Leave Coordinator include the following:
Assist with payroll functions and help process bi-weekly payroll for the company using Dayforce
Recognizing when an issue must be escalated to another area for resolution.
Data Entry and Audits
Coordinate Workers Compensation Process
Processing garnishments, levies, court orders and following up on related issues.
Communicating the details of the issues encountered during the payroll process.
Contributing to improvements of the payroll/leave/operations process by sharing and implementing improved processes.
Assist with reconciling different bi-weekly and monthly reports for payroll.
Researching and assisting employees in resolving questions and system related issues in a timely and accurate manner.
General support to HR Operations team and backup
Assist with other HR Operations duties within the organization, i. e. leave administration, benefit billing, etc.
Other duties as assigned


What do we require from you?

2-5 years experience in Payroll (Preferably Multi-State)
Previous experience in benefits/leave administration is a plus
Associates/Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
Must possess the ability to meet deadlines and flexibility.
Must be able to work effectively in a team environment as well as individually.
Strong knowledge of Excel (Pivot tables and VLookup)
Excellent organization, written and verbal communication skills.
Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical skills are required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
